Wildlife Training

Wildlife groups in NSW operate under license regulations and the codes of practice as set out in:

Department of Planning, Industry and Environment’s (DPIE) Rehabilitation of Protected Animals Policy

Please take the time to follow this link and read the policy

Our volunteers undertake basic training in the rescue and transport of native wildlife. It is our policy that new members complete an induction and orientation before commencing their volunteer position.

After becoming proficient in basic tasks, members can then choose to start 1st level species training.
